Several aspects must be analyzed when comparing LED and OLED screens. To begin, an LED screen employs the use of LEDs for backlighting which gives it high brightness with decent color reproduction. They are usually cheaper and have a longer lifetime as well. On the other hand, OLED screens have self-emissive pixels, enabling the display of true blacks along with ultra-high contrast ratios. They have superior viewing angles and are slimmer as well. But OLED screens tend to be pricier and can be subject to burn-in after prolonged high-intensity usage.
